Our newest team member, Amie, has some tips to help you discover how to get the most out of the weekend while also serving as an amazing example for your kids.
Self Love is something so many parents forget to practice. It’s hard to care for others when your tank is empty, so be sure to spend a little time learning to speak your own love language this weekend.
With a Masters Degree in Social Work from Stony Brook University, Amie is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 10 years of personal and professional experience in the adoption and social work field.
Focusing on individual, adolescent, and family therapy, as well as providing Adoption Home Studies to those looking to form or build their families through domestic, international, foster, or step-parent adoption, Amie will be there to assist you in developing, working toward, and attaining your goals in whatever areas of life you choose.
As an adoptive parent, Amie understands the roller coaster ride that adoption can be. Her goal is to make it easier for those going through the process. Many people feel very intimidated by the idea of someone coming into their home to complete a home study. Amie immediately brings comfort to the situation with her outgoing and friendly nature.
